Desktop site crashing

Could you ask tech to have a rummage?

MN has crashed several times this morning, nearly every time I click to move pages or to post something. It either takes me to an error message page, or just whites out.

Desktop on iPad with Safari.

Happening to me too, not on the app, but using an ipad - safari browser. Not crashing exactly but pages just not loading leaving me with a white screen, requiring several reloads to show content. No other websites affected.

I had about four pages in a row load fine a minute ago and thought it was fixed. Then it took six refreshes to get this page open!

Oo, and dawn said on the other thread, hq are having the same problems at the towers!

Its that "cyberbully", hes in the system and removing our mn :(

Mobile site on Hudl and phone, using Chrome. Glad it's not just me!

I assumed it was just a way of telling me to get on with work rather than pissing about on mumsnet.

Windows phone here, loads to a white screen and have to refresh up to 5 times (current max) to actually load the page

Am now intermittently getting a screen saying "Mumsnet. Sorry, an error has occurred" in between the blank screen, refresh refresh refresh nonsense.

Makes a change, I suppose.

Okay, good news!

Our Tech chaps have been tinkering away and it seems there was a problem with one of the servers. (They may have said a few more technical words, but that was the gist of it, really).

Could you let us know if things are working okay now?

Well that's a start! One satisfied customer and counting ...

Ok, pages are now loading first time but slowly - start to load, pause and then complete.

But I am now getting the "problem occurred - page reloading" problem (afflicted a lot of us a while ago, I think?)

Could it be a related server issue ? It's not a complete crash, but when it reloads (at random moments) it eats anything you've typed but not yet posted. Which can be frustrating!

I bet it's to do with these oversized and 'video' ads which appear on the right hand side >>

I wish they'd all blarsted vanish, otherwise I'm going to have to take a Nurofen.

I'm crossing my fingers, but it does seem to be behaving at the moment (no reloads in last hour). I hope I've not spoken too soon!
