Mobile site freaking out

Asleeponasunbeam · 17/01/2015 08:21

iPhone 5 with safari.
When I click on active convos or threads I'm on, or a thread title, most of the time I'm going to a blank page. Need to try several times before a page loads. I don't think I've had this before.

Its not just the mobile site, the desktop one is doing it too.

Safari on an iPad and Firefox on a Mac.

FunMitFlags · 17/01/2015 08:24

Same here - ipad with Safari, but on the normal MN site not the app.

MrsJacksonAvery · 17/01/2015 08:30

PenelopePitstops · 17/01/2015 08:31

Kahlua4me · 17/01/2015 08:34

Same here on iPad.
Glad to know its not just me, but frustrating all the same!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 17/01/2015 08:36

same here on both ipad and also on pc running chrome.

ShoeJunkie · 17/01/2015 08:38

And here, safari on iPhone.

ProfYaffle · 17/01/2015 08:41

My laptop is doing it too (Chrome) and I keep getting screens saying 'sorry an error has occurred', refreshing 5 or 6 times often works but it's very annoying!

SwedeDreams · 17/01/2015 08:41

Same here, Sony xperia z and chrome. Really annoying!

differentnameforthis · 17/01/2015 08:42

Firefox on PC too.

Hamper · 17/01/2015 09:02

Yup iPad Safari.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 17/01/2015 09:26

Morning all,

And sorry! Sad

This seems to be a problem on all devices - see this thread.

And for me, too! PC, desktop site, Chrome, fwiw.

Rest assured our Tech folk are on the case. We'll report back as soon as we know what's going on.

Thanks for your patience. Flowers

RJnomore · 17/01/2015 11:42

Glad it isn't me, I thought it was my iPad at first then it was happening on my phone, it's taken ages to get into site stuff to see if there was a problem.

Thanks dawn.

DawnMumsnet · 17/01/2015 13:45

Okay, good news!

Our Tech chaps have been tinkering away and it seems there was a problem with one of the servers. (They may have said a few more technical words, but that was the gist of it, really).

Could you let us know if things are working okay now?

Fingers crossed! Grin

SoupDragon · 17/01/2015 15:19

All seems better so far.... Give the Techs some biscuits and a mug of tea.
