Flashing adverts

All I can see are flashing adverts at the top of my screen (I'm on a mobile using android), mainly about winning an iPhone 5. They're driving me crackers!! Can they be switched off somehow?? Is everyone else in non-flashing advert bliss?!

There seems to be more flashing than usual tonight.

Actually there are about four different adverts, all about winning something.

They aren't supposed to flash . Feel like MNHQ have sold out to the advertisers.
Also can you get rid of the top advert , the middle is ok.

I have the top one - about iPhones. Can't get rid of it. So annoying. mNHQ please remove them.

Please get rid it's really bad for my eyes. Never had this before will have to leave if it does not stop.

I've given up complaining about this. They don't respond.

This one is back again!

The dreaded flashing 'win an iPhone' 'you have a message' advert. It just keeps coming back!

Yep I have the win an iPhone one flashing away too
