Yes, there have been a few posters who appear overnight, contributing to them in a fairly distinctive way and sometimes starting them.

I'm glad that wherever and however many times the same inaccuracies are trotted out, there are posters who will answer them. I would not want to see the myths of this case go unchallenged.

Yes, but as some of those threads and date from 2012, others from time of his release, and then ones from each attempted signing, it's not a deluge all at once.

(I did think this was the most considerate Christmas for some time, in terms of posters actually using the topic. Very few outside it until very late Nov).

It's 39 now, and that's only an AS of his full name in the thread title. There are ones when he's referred to as CE no doubt.

I just can't see what's to be gained by new threads starting and rehashing all the same info again and again. It does remind me of the MM threads.

to be fair this one has CE in it(I refuse to use his name)
and so does the other one in site stuff...
but that is still 37 threads

If people can't keep weaning threads in weaning, or housebuying threads in property, what makes you think Ched Evans topics will stay in the Ched Evans topic, when people would have no reason to even guess that such a topic would exist?

Perhaps they could do an AS first and add their bit of useful, new information and original thoughts on an existing thread, That would be a start.

We don't do single threads any more. Not sure we have since the early days of MM.

And tbh it is probably the same reason as why we won't have a sexual violence topic as the haters gonna hate, innit and it would probably attract The Wrong Sort if you know what we mean.
