MN redirecting to spam site

In the last 5 minutes when browsing MN it has started randomly redirecting to spam ad site lemode-mgz.com.

It happens just after clicking to a new thread from active convos and also again when I clicked "start new thread" from site stuff.

This was the URL from one of the spam pages:

I then got 'sorry an error occurred'

spam was on ipad safari, sorry an error occurred on chrome, bad gateway on firefox.

I've googled. Apparently it may be something embedded on a dodgy Google ad on the page.

Yup, not every thread but am getting redirected every few minutes. On the plus side I've lost 4lb of belly fat and doctors are flabbergasted.

Every single thread I link on, I start reading and then get redirected.

It's happened to me too (desktop, Safari)

I cleared cookies and website data, and it's not happened since.

Thanks AuntieStella have just done that so will see if it works.

Means I have to log back in to everything though. Sigh.

Plus (possibly unrelated) a spammy message was sent from my facebook to a load of my friends. I havent clicked any dodgy links on there, so no idea where it has come from
