Beige coloured posts??

Before the new mobile site stole my lovely green op highlighted posts (grrrrr) I had my colours set to green and lavender. New nom bike site, fine, only mine are lavender and op's are grey.

However, last few days, I've been getting random posters (and all different posters) being highlighted in beigey/orange????

Any ideas??

Errrrr, has your phone been on holiday and got a tan?

Has anyone else experienced this?

NoisyOyster · 08/01/2015 14:45

Me too. Only noticed it today. Really random

IneedAwittierNickname · 14/01/2015 01:23

Or maybe not random. I noticed it on the steam stick tester feedback thread. Testers are mostly that orangey beige colour. And non testers white. At least for the 2 pages I looked at.
Except my non tester post is orangey beige Confused

Ah ha! I'm not going crazy and seeing things in a sepia tint then

IneedAwittierNickname · 14/01/2015 05:20

Nope. It's definitely there. But I've only seen it on that thread.

RebeccaMumsnet · 14/01/2015 09:24

How very strange!
What phone do you have and what browser does it use please?
We'll ask Tech to have a look when we have the specifics.

thank you

I can see that too. Using Safari on an iPhone. Not all of the testers are highlighted, so I don't think it's that.

I'm using chrome on a samung galaxy s4. I didn't really think it was that wishing although it would be clever if it was.

RowanMumsnet · 15/01/2015 09:58

So is this only happening on tester threads then?

IneedAwittierNickname · 15/01/2015 11:56

It's the only place I've seen it.

NoisyOyster · 15/01/2015 14:37

Maybe it's a sign we lucky few are about to win a lot of gold. Well, beigey coloured gold.....

Ooo I hope so!!!! We can dream right? Grin

AngelieMumsnet · 15/01/2015 14:53

Hi everyone, for that Karcher thread, we've changed the settings so that tester posts would be highlighted, since they were being lost in the non-tester comments.

Namechanging is another factor - we're working on a way to display users consistently whether they've namechanged or not

For feedback threads, we sometimes do this when we have a small number of testers and lots of non-tester comments, just to make it easier for anyone who is only looking for feedback comments.

AngelieMumsnet · 15/01/2015 14:54

IneedAwittierNickname - sorry, your posts were highlighted by accident. I've fixed this now!

IneedAwittierNickname · 15/01/2015 15:45

Oooo my theory was correct. Do I win a prize??..

It's clever. I'm in awe!

IneedAwittierNickname · 15/01/2015 15:45

And no worries Angelie :)
