i thought the thread title was a bit irking - and it raised my hackles a bit - not surprised it has ended up with hurt feelings and arguing

Cam, I have just posted on that "dumbing down" thread to say that I agreed with Dior and that I thought you were obnoxious and hurtful on Pages' thread.

I have just read your awful news about your MIL, (yes, I should have read it before posting) and I would like to apologise profusely. I would not have posted if I had thought properly about it first. The Pages thread is over and done with and I shouldn't have referred to it. I am hot-tempered and tactless but I'm not a total bitch, and I don't want to make you feel worse when you are already going through something traumatic.

I doubt you and I will ever see eye to eye, but I really am sorry for my comment tonight.

I always find it strange how if someone says something contentious about 10 people jump in and give them a repeat lashing - I mean you would do that in the street would you - just imagine 6 of you stood in a group going ""what you said is unnacceptable" "what you said is unnacceptable" "what you said is unnacceptable".......

I think the fact that we are looking at a screen rather than a person can lead to us perhaps being more forthright than we would in person.

I didnt read the other thread and I dont think I will if its another one of those bunfights (LOL)

i havent been on all night and i have walked into a bloody war zone.

i have quickly scanned the dumbing down thread (one which annoys be by the very title! but thats another thread) and it seems that Dior has asked for the subject to be dropped repeatedly, as have you CAM and i think apologies were made.

so i am a little confused as to the purpose of this thread.

how about we all just either play nice or steer clear of each other.
