My hat is stuck.

I'm trying to take my SANTA HAT off, but when I do the do dah bits and hit save I get this message The chat nickname you requested (BankWadger) is already in use. Please try another.

Of course it's in use. It's my ruddy name! It's there at the top of the list of all my names. Please, when the right person is back in the office, can I take my hat off it's hot and I look slightly silly now and be myself again.
