We need a Muskemoticon pleeeeaaaaaasssseeeeeeee! (For Friday)

Hello there lovely Mumsnet HQ types.
I'm sure you must have heard of us dedicated wenches propping up the bar in the Swagger Inn Tavern up the road. Well, you see, the thing is, we feel a bit let down by the BBC as they have catered for fans all over the world for the upcoming (we will be) Series 2 of The Musketeers but have pretty much ignored us mad loyal stalkers fans.

In short, we would feel sooooo much better about being sidelined if you could to us the teensy favour of setting up a new emoticon for us to play with from Friday. Maybe a little [sword], [pauldron] or just a simple [fleur de lys]?

We would be forever grateful to you

The Woolly Huggers did indeed ask for a Star a vair long time ago. We created Thanks for them as we felt it more appropriate at the time.

The fact is, we can't have every emoticon asked for, as much as we'd love to - we know it will wind people up if there are too many.

Right. If we're not going to get this - how about this proposal? Musketeers Series 2 starts Fri. They have done next to no promo in UK but lots in other countries. Their fans all over social meeeja have been complaining. MN, get em in for a web chat. Pllllleaseeeeee. Tell them about the 84,000 posts. Tell them we're their target market. Tell them we want recognition. You have got the 'pull' to do this for us. Let the BBC know Mumsnet makes it happen!

Their Exec producer is a lovely lovely lady called Jessica Pope. She's on Twitter Smile We have always said she's an honorary wench.

We're always open to proposals (so long as they're not emoticon-related, obvs) - so we're going to pass this one on to our webchat supremo and see what we can do.

Why, DawnMumsnet? I've never understood why emoticons have to be limited.

Because they take a gazillion Tech hours to create, apparently, as well as the tears of a freshly hatched unicorn. Or something.
