Why has the site gone weird and white and why aren't the threads I've clicked on a different colour?

Is it impossible to name change if your account has your password as default on a kindle?
I will not remember password otherwise but hate the prompt reset password hoops I cannot jump through just to name change. am electrickery challenged ;-)

isthisunfair1967 · 09/12/2014 10:54

Ctrl and enter isn't working to post either.

OP posts:
isthisunfair1967 · 09/12/2014 10:54

Oh. It is now, it wasn't a minute ago. Ctrl enter that is.

FruVikingessOla · 09/12/2014 10:58

Oh yes, how weird. Every thread title is now in blue.

I've also got my Secret Santa pop-up again, even though I posted on it last week to say that I'd sent my gifts (it disappeared after that, but it's just reappeared).

isthisunfair1967 · 09/12/2014 11:44

HQ?

CatsCantTwerk · 09/12/2014 11:44

I was just coming to ask the same thing. I remember this has happened before.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 09/12/2014 12:36

phew not my laptop playing up then.

MagratsHair · 09/12/2014 12:39

Me too

WorraLiberty · 09/12/2014 12:41

Grrrr! It's so annoying that the thread titles aren't changing colour Xmas Angry

Dawndonnaagain · 09/12/2014 12:52

Yep, driving me nuts too!

KateSMumsnet · 09/12/2014 16:37

Eh? Threads are looking normal to us! Perhaps it's the famous MN aurora borealis...

Where are you seeing the funky colours?

isthisunfair1967 · 09/12/2014 16:38

Not just me - there's another thread out on the main boards about it too!!

Threads I click on aren't changing colour.

The weird whiteness has gone though, and the ctrl enter is working again (it wasn't earlier)

Nervo · 09/12/2014 16:39

Yes, the threads that I've visited are no longer purple - they are blue (MN Classic).

~Including threads that were previously purple.

mejon · 09/12/2014 16:57

Happening to me too. I'd also set mine to have no pages and for some reason it has reverted to individual pages. Logged in the whole time.

ZylaB · 09/12/2014 19:58

It seems the be dependant on the view you're in for the talk boards. I like mumsnet new, but this doesn't show which links I've already visited, if I set it to mumsnet Classic, or mumsnet muted, it does show clicked links as purple instead of blue.

Please fix this for the mumsnet new option techs!

(And if you're like me, I've had to switch for now cos I dont like clicking on topics I've already read, unless I choose to revisit them Grin)

OddBoots · 09/12/2014 20:34

It's happened for me too, also Mumsnet new.

NanTheWiser · 09/12/2014 21:24

It's really annoying, innit?
