Childcare options?

We need a section for child care providers to support each other and share practise.

The childcare options is fine but will be populated by parents.

Maybe called cms and nanny support/Advice?

Can MNHQ tell us why this has been changed?
Childminders are already feeling pushed out and marginalised by Government and OFSTED. Now it seems as though Mumsnet doesn't even rate us worthy of a topic!

If you felt that a Childcare Options topic was necessary, why not just add one?

Now it is Home Childcare. Suppose that is better as defines where the care takes place. Nurseries can then be a separate topic. Nanny Shares can be removed as that falls under Home Childcare. Before/After School Clubs could be added or perhaps School Based Care.
Then maybe we could have a jobs board? Yeah I know they want to use local for that.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for all the confusion - we certainly didn't mean to make anyone feel marginalised. We changed the name of some topics simply to make them fit on mobile view, as well over 50% on our traffic now comes to us via mobile.

If you can think of (shortish) title that you think is more suitable then please do shout - you may well think of an better alternative that hadn't occurred to us.
