He is doing the Reith lectures which will be broadcast shortly on the BBC his recent book Being Mortal would be a good place to start a national debate on a 'good death'.

My first begging post to the powers of mumsnet (scraping the floor bow).

Where better to start a national campaign on open discussions on death .
