Am astonsihed at you WWB. The gifts you receive from your MIL are part of the Mumsnet Christmas tradition!

WigWamBam · 05/10/2006 17:15

I love Christmas, DG. I really do (MIL's gifts notwithstanding).

I just prefer to keep it to December rather than starting in September!

Kaloo20 · 05/10/2006 17:18

WWW - I'm very happy for you that you can start your Christmas preperations in December.

We have to buy cards to send abroad - which if we realisticly want them to get there in time for Christmas will have to be sent by the beginning of November.

Plus we have 2 birthday and a wedding anniversary at the end of November/beginning of December. And we rely pretty heavily on DH's bonuses......if he doesn't get it (which it looks like he probably wont' at the end of this month, or November) then we have to plan well in advance or there'll be no Christmas......

zippitippitoes · 05/10/2006 17:22

actually for without chat and without buying and selling
