Would this be possible?

Say I'm browsing Primary Education, I want to go to Secondary Education without having to go back to the list of topics and navigating from there... Could we have quick link buttons within particular topics to other topics?

So, at the top of the threads list in Primary Education, would be buttons marked Secondary Education, Middle School Education, Special Educational Needs etc. which you could click on to get to a list of threads in that topic.

(Whilst on the subject of education, can you create a School Admissions topic?)

Obviously this could work for other related topics too.

Is there a reason I'm not seeing that this wouldn't work?

The technical term for the blue bar at the top of every page is the "nav bar", short for "navigation" - so the links in there to take you to different bits of talk and content. So if you hover over Education, in a naice purple box you'll see links to all the other main education talk topics.

Hope you have enjoyed this overly complicated explanation of the nav bar Grin

But those links seem to take me to the MN pages on secondary education etc., rather than the talk board topic IYSWIM. Then I have to navigate from there.

Am I doing it wrong? On an iPad if that makes a difference...

I'm on an iPad, using desktop site on safari, and I've just tried hovering and no links to other topics appear.
