Flashing adverts - the slow computer one!

Is there a way to switch off the ads on the left hand side. I just got a horrible instant headache from the red and green flashing PC one!

Sorry, that doesn't sound good! If you can get a screenshot of the ad we might be able to disable it for you.

I ended up installing an ad blocker for some instant relief! I actually saw the same ad on another site and this seemed like the best option. It was the "Is your computer too slow? Click here to make it faster" with a smiley face and red/green colours and flashing constantly. Horrible!
