Some threads switch the app off

I'm still using the iPhone app and was wondering why some threads, seemingly at random, cause the app to shut down completely. It sort of flashes, switches off and sends me straight back to the screen with all the app icons on it. Sometimes I will be reading a thread and get to a certain point in it and it happens, sometimes it just won't let me read a thread at all. Is it happening to any other app users or does everyone else use the mobile site now?

That just happened to me when I clicked Active Convos. I snuck in the back door via TIO and it seems ok now.

It just did it again when I clicked on the thread titled "you lot will never guess what my 5 year old has drawn" - same thread that crashed it first time.

That thread crashed for me, too...

Yes, it was the same thread that reminded me to ask. That's weird then.

Me too. Am dying to know what has been drawn!

Thehoardernextdoor · 24/09/2014 17:18

Yes, same thread did that to me too

Tidypidy · 24/09/2014 17:24

Me too. Seems to be a thread a day on average. Screen goes black then back to home screen on phone.

I thought maybe it was on threads where photos have been posted, even though you can't see photos on the app...but I don't think it is that because sometimes it lets me read a thread down to a certain post then turns off. I reopen it, get back to the same point in the thread, off it goes again. Confused
