Please could you add a box for 'threads started by ...'?

Yes please, I think that would be INCREDIBLY handy

You know, partic for those times when members think they can see a "pattern" of posts, their tone, maybe their subject.

This info can ofc be gleaned by the person performing the AS but it does mean ye olde pen and paper method sometimes needs deploying

Or, if you can't do this, perhaps when a search of a name comes up and shows lots of posts, could you highlight the ones started by the name you've searched? A bit like the way the OP of a thread is in a different colour?

Sorry to take so long to reply. A good hard look at Advanced Search is on the long-term Tech list, so we will add this to the suggestions list.
