Can we have an amusing online weeky poll?

You know, like "is a silly tart or not?" or maybe sometimes it could be more serious like "do you think smacking should be banned?" what d'ya reckon? I'd be interested in seeing the results of polls like this anyway.

Sounds a good idea to me. Could give the option of adding comments and the most amusing/relevent ones published.

Thomcat · 23/09/2006 21:05

Sounds good to me

milward · 23/09/2006 21:05

great idea

Miaou · 23/09/2006 21:06

Oooh yes - a bit like my "pointless poll of the day" threads that I did a while ago (though I kind of lost momentum - had intended to keep it up )

Carmenere · 23/09/2006 21:07

Do Greggs sausage rolls have a place in modern pushchairs?
Fruit Shoots - is there an actual fruit content?
Footless tights - yes or no?
That kind of thing??

WideWebWitch · 23/09/2006 21:10

Yes, esp frivolous stuff like 'footless tights over 30, what do we think?' or 'be honest, have you ever been to McDonalds?'

carmenere, I was in Waitrose yesterday and there was a little boy in a buggy about 18 months eating a huge sausage roll . I couldn't look the mother in the eye

Carmenere · 23/09/2006 21:23

Ah no Delgirl, if it was a Waitrose sausage roll it's probably ok

JJMumsnet · 23/09/2006 21:28

Think this is in the works - but a lot of things are, so maybe next few months or so? Love the idea of adding comments.

fatfox · 23/09/2006 21:38

How about "what is that wierd thing Gordon Brown does with his mouth? Answers on a postcard please"

WideWebWitch · 23/09/2006 21:38

thanks jj!

dunno fatfox but I hate it, makes me heave when I see him talk.

fatfox · 24/09/2006 09:06

Delgirl - THANK YOU - it is gross isn't it? There is something perverse about the way he does that

YellowFeathers · 24/09/2006 09:08

Sounds a good idea.

And to answer the footless tights thing. No to everyone, never mind over 30's.
