Newest post at top on TIO but at bottom on other threads?

Just wondering if this set-up is or could be possible.

If I open a thread I haven't seen or posted on before, I want to read it from the start. But for threads I'm already on or am already following, I want to see newest posts at the top. It's annoying that whichever setting I choose, it is right for one type if thread but not the other, so I keep having to "flip" the thread. Am I making any sense?

We do understand where you're coming from, but this isn't something we'd bother our poor, over-worked Tech folk with.

Mostly because we'd probably then get a whole bunch of complaints from people who don't want their threads flipped...
