Mobile to desktop view

I'm sure there have been threads on this but I can't find any so sorry...

I'm another who hates the new mobile site (sorry!) and so want to view the MN desktop site when on my phone and tablet. How do I move from mobile to desktop view?

I know you used to be able to click the button at the very bottom of the page to move between sites but I can't see this now. Is it still there?

Any help would be appreciated

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, there is a link.

It's still there - but way way down the bottom. Keep scrolling.

Amy, the button has, indeed, disappeared. It flashes at you for a second then vanishes. I managed to find my way back to desktop via the home button but the bottom of the page link has broken.

Are you on a phone or a tablet, Ehric ?

This happened on iPad, ios7, safari. Worked fine on my iphone.

Ah - I replicated it. Went on to the general Talk Topics layout and there was no bottom of the page link - in fact no bottom of the page anything. I went into a topic and by the time I did that, the link was back.

It may be that the site is having an issue (it was hanging on me on the tablet) or that something is a bit flaky on the link. Maybe try it again for confirmation to see what you get?
