why wont customise work?

I like to see who started threads and have customised MN to show this
A couple of days ago it disappeared and now if I use customise to show this it doesn't work, whats gone wrong?

Apparently even though we have the option it doesn't work and I think they're working on it.

It's not working for me, either.
