Desktop site keeps crashing - anyone else getting this?

On desktop on my tablet now, having given up on the mobile site. It crashes literally every three minutes or so, regardless of size of thread.

Is anyone else getting this? Is it that tech are all concentrating on the glitches major chuffing design- flaws-- of the mobile site?

This is my last hope for regular MN use, please tell me it's temporary...

Don't give up on us yet! Can we ask which browser you're using?

I forgot I'd started this thread. Browser is the default on Android 4.0.3.

Why wouldn't I give up on the mobile site? It's unfinished, far worse than the old site and major problems are being left to users to point out but dismissed as 'glitches' rather than the whacking great basic faults they are. I am seriously staggered by the level of mismanagement of the entire project.

Maybe it's crashing because all the mobile users have decamped to it?

Actually on a serious note, tried to use the desktop site today (as mobile still hugely problematic) and if I click on a thread title I get thrown off the internet and all my saved pages on my browser go missing, so it's affecting non-MN stuff too.

I can't be bothered any more really if I'm honest. Feels like too much effort over too long a period of time. Why should we have to keep reporting problems when we never asked for the change in the first place.
