On the desktop site.

The option to show who the thread was started by and when is still showing. But selecting "Yes" (or indeed "No") for this option does not stay when you click save.

Just letting it be known in case it had not been mentioned.

Lunchtime ?

BeCool · 27/08/2014 14:07

ah so happy to see this thread as
A) I am not mad;
B) it is driving me crazy too as nothing looks 'right' anymore; and
C) I don't need to start a thread myself.

DramaAlpaca · 27/08/2014 15:22

It still isn't working.

PrincessFiorimonde · 27/08/2014 15:52

Not working for me either (Google Chrome).

Skina · 27/08/2014 15:55

Driving me nuts. Thread starters I actively swerve are now akin to playing Russian Roulette with my sanity. This is not a Good Thing.

AmyMumsnet · 27/08/2014 17:29

Hi everyone, really sorry to hear this still isn't working. We're still working on it and it should be fixed shortly!

cozietoesie · 27/08/2014 17:30

I'm guessing that there's been some big site overhaul implemented and that Thread Started By was a forgotten casualty (or in corporation-speak 'An unintended consequence of development' Grin) - this has been going on for so long that it's clearly not susceptible to a quick tweak even when it's a major irritant to site users.

PrincessFiorimonde · 27/08/2014 19:56

Ah, it's fine now. Thanks.

cozietoesie · 27/08/2014 20:11

Phew. (Although I had to go into Customise and restate my wishes.)

Thanks MNHQ and Tech.

gertiegusset · 27/08/2014 21:10

Another phew from me.
Thanks

BeCool · 27/08/2014 21:38

restated now - yay!!!

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 27/08/2014 21:46

Thank you for fixing it. Back to normal again.

DramaAlpaca · 27/08/2014 22:24

Thank you Flowers

Or Gin if you prefer Smile

cozietoesie · 27/08/2014 23:41

Yes - remind Tech that if there's a spare 5 minutes, we could do with a G&T emoticon. Tall with a slice of lemon. Grin

KateSMumsnet · 28/08/2014 15:37

Glad it's all sorted Smile
