The option to show who the thread was started by and when is still showing. But selecting "Yes" (or indeed "No") for this option does not stay when you click save.

Just letting it be known in case it had not been mentioned.

A) I am not mad;
B) it is driving me crazy too as nothing looks 'right' anymore; and
C) I don't need to start a thread myself.

Driving me nuts. Thread starters I actively swerve are now akin to playing Russian Roulette with my sanity. This is not a Good Thing.

Hi everyone, really sorry to hear this still isn't working. We're still working on it and it should be fixed shortly!

I'm guessing that there's been some big site overhaul implemented and that Thread Started By was a forgotten casualty (or in corporation-speak 'An unintended consequence of development' ) - this has been going on for so long that it's clearly not susceptible to a quick tweak even when it's a major irritant to site users.
