MTM -Oh it was fabulous. I didn't get to meet him but was literally feet from him when he was on the red carpet and then lucky enough to have seats very near the front.

He was so obviously chuffed to be the Doctor, he has been waiting his whole life to play him. It was very endearing. He was so sweet with the small fans as well.

I won't spoil the episode but you won't be disappointed ( except possibly for the amount of screen time he gets, he's not in it enough IMO!). He is gpoing to be a great Doctor, as we knew he would!Have a great time.

He is an incredibly fabulous and talented actor, but the fact that he was also SUCH a massive fanboy really makes it something so special. I know Tennant was too...but Capaldi has been there since the start. He's going to project the last 50 years back at us in his own incarnation and it's just going to be the most exciting ride! He's so intelligent, and creative and passionate and kind and just EXACTLY what you'd actually want the Doctor to be like if he was real!

They could not have picked a better actor for the part.
