Her name is tunnocksteacakes- her DH was ill and she has had all her posts deleted at her request. Apart from PMing her anyone know if I could find out if shes okay- the way shes requested all her posts be deleted is worrying- MNHQ any idea?

I remember her and haven't seen anything from her in ages.
I hope all is well.
Perhaps a brief pm might be a good idea, but maybe she just wants some peace and quiet for a bit and somebody may have recognised her from previous posts, hence she deleted them.

I think there should be a way that MNHQ could contact and check if somebody has shown concern over a poster, especially considering the type of site this is.

That's what I thought as I'm sure she had mentioned certain family members being rather awkward. Tea cakes if you are reading this I'm sending love and best wishes

Oh no :(

I haven't been around for ages, she was one of the posters I wanted to 'check up on'. I really hope they are both (all) OK.

However, MN cannot step in in situations like this. They just can't. Most of us would be furious if we chose to have all our posts deleted and stop posting on MN only to be contacted to see if we were 'alright'.

It is different (though I can see why they can't do much) when a poster is threatening to harm themselves - then I do wish they could do more, but not in situations like this.

We just have to hope that Tunnocks knows she has lots of support here, should she wish to access it. Anyway, she might be, under another name anonymously - who knows.

Hi there OP, thanks for thinking of Tunnocks. We're sure she'd be pleased to be remembered. Yes, as Cafe says, there isn't much we can do to help really. Best thing to do is drop her a PM and if she's still on that email address she should get it. Do pass on our best if you get hold of her.

I remember tunnocks. I wouldn't read too much into her requesting her posts be deleted. I remember she once admitted to having a v famous family member so maybe someone made a link somewhere if she was talking about her family...

I can't look at teacakes now without a pang of sadness. Id like to know how she is but it is not a given. Ttc if you are reading-i often think of you x

MrsHummels · 09/08/2014 21:25

I hope she is ok. She knows we are here if she needs us.

Tunnocks, I'm thinking of you too.

Paddlinglikehell · 17/09/2014 20:38

I just logged on after a while away and first thing I thought of was tunnocks so did a search and saw posts deleted, then found this.

Hope all is OK, but I can fully understand the deletions in the circumstances. I hope you are still around tunnocks, but maybe in a different guise Wink.

Can you give us a sign?!!!!!
