Refreshing threads

Hi

I've noticed recently that something has changed. When I hit 'refresh page' while viewing a thread, if I have anything typed in the reply box, I now lose it - previously what you had typed used to stay there when the new posts on the thread came up after refreshing. I've lost a couple of long posts because of this.

Was this by design? Because it was really useful to be able to refresh a thread just before pressing 'post' to make sure you aren't cross posting with someone, especially after spending a long time writing a post.

I am using Firefox on Windows XP if that helps.

I read the title and thought this was going to be a thread asking to highlight threads that are not about inconsiderate parking, inadequate teachers of peoples pfbs or ones asking "Harrow or eton?" Blush

Hi, do you want to give it a go on another browser and see if the same thing happens? It could be a browser setting?
