System not allowing me to update newsletter options

I have tried over a number of days to update my newsletter preferences (via 'my account') and when I select the newsletters I want to receive it tells me to select 'update'. So I do. The purple 'update' button then changes into a purple 'please wait' button that keeps me waiting and waiting and waiting... but doesn't ever change my preferences.

This has happened over a good few weeks now, as whenever I remember I pop in to change it, but it doesn't actually do anything...

Please could you have a look into this, I miss the emails

i had this and tiggyd had a thread about it a couple of weeks ago. MNHQ kindly changed it for me (rowan iirc)

sadly i don't think tiggy's worked, but mine did
