Android app problem - not displaying right number of posts

I've FINALLY figured out how to take screenshots to explain this problem! On the android app I often find that the number of posts next to the thread on the Active list is completely different from the number of posts that are actually on that thread. That's even when I've gone back to the menu screen and then gone back into Active.

So this is what the Active list looks like

I get this. I read a long thread and then realise people are talking about posts which aren't there!

Yes I've flagged this to tptb before - there's a glitch where not the posts are displayed on the android app. Drove me crazy on long threads scrolling up.and down trying to find the post that someone else is referencing.

Yup, unless you watch the times of the posts, you lose huge chunks without realising, then if you post something you get the head chewed off you because someone else has already explained it. I've been the victim of a few RTFT because of this.

We know some of you have flagged this before, and we know you're really sick of us saying it, but we're really close now to testing the much better apps and mobile site, and tbh any tech resource that is put into laboriously fixing the old apps will be taken off getting the new apps ready. So while we really do understand that this is incredibly annoying, at the moment we're just going hell-for-leather trying to get the new versions ready so that nobody has to use the horrible old versions any more...
