I'm getting some odd behaviour on threads with pictures

When I click "back" in my browser to go back to threads I'm on or active, it doesn't always go back straight away. Just now I had to press back about five times, and the URL was changing as though it was loading several versions of the same page. With multiple pictures sometimes it's like it's scrolling through each picture (even though the page doesn't reload for each picture) but this last one was just one picture.

It's been doing that to me ever since we could post photos into threads. I'd imagined that every photo I clicked on, took me 'further in' so to speak. So when clicking 'back', you have to take yourself back through each photo you've viewed.

Yes which seems odd. It doesn't happen every time either (or perhaps I'm clicking onto another page and not noticing).

Seems odd that it would take 4 or so clicks to exit a thread with one picture though. I might have clicked the thumbnail to view it bigger but not sure.

Oh yes, it only happens when you click on the thumbnail. The only way to get out quickly is just click on the Topic - at the top - in this case Site Stuff (if that makes any sense?!)

Hrm this sounds odd. This might be a feeling daft suggestion, but does it make a difference if you X the window where you're looking at the pic?

BertieBotts · 04/06/2014 14:04

I don't know because I always do that or I can't read the rest of the thread Grin

Assuming you're talking about the little pop up which the picture comes in, not closing the entire window?

Well, I click on the X to exit the photo, but it still takes a few 'backs' to take me back - IYSWIM, Kate?

Fru, I feel we should know your combination by now Grin but could you let us know again?

FruVikingessOla · 06/06/2014 17:56

Ooops, sorry.
