Just that really. And yes, I do start this thread every couple of months.

Hi iK8,

The report button is working and I believe that AmyMumsnet has responded to your report this morning?

Did you get the email?

iK8 · 03/06/2014 12:26

Hi, the post has only just gone so I've not checked my MN email yet. It was up there for hours and hours and hours though.

Admittedly mine was a case of poster's regret aka my own fault but I've also previously reported horrible trolling and attacks and they've taken forever to get a response.

We're really sorry - it's been one of those weeks when we've had an absolute avalanche of both reports and spammy posts and we've been rather inundated. We're making a concerted effort to catch up this morning. Apologies.

We've got three people on reports today, so the inbox has been divided up between them and they're working through them from oldest to newest. Unfortunately it sounds as though the ones you've reported are at the wrong end of someone's assigned chunk of reports, if that makes sense.

When we're snowed under like this we tend to leave spam reports until last, unless a spammer has been unusually prolific. But if we've got (say) 30 reports about one piece of spam, we tend to zap it just so we can clear our inbox a bit and start to see the wood for the trees more.

Good-oh. Really sorry it was up for so long and thanks for being understanding about it.
