Abbreviations

I have just joined Mumsnet. Sometimes I can be a bit dense I suppose, but I see DH, DS, DC, and so many others all over the place and wonder what they all stand for. H is husband, C is child, I know that much, but beyond that I'm a bit stumped.

I work in the dreaded world of I.T. so I suppose I should be used to acronyms... though I have had to cope with so many recently that my head is in danger of exploding.
