You type your post in the box and hit SEND.

You get a pop-up message at the bottom of the screen asking if you want to Open or Save the post you have just written.

You select 'Open'

It then goes into Adobe Acrobat.

After a few minutes your post may / mau not appear on the thread.

We had this very same problem last year and Tech fixed it.

IE9 and Windows 7 on laptop

should this be taking so long to fix?

Icimoi · 20/05/2014 13:21

I hoped this morning's bit of tinkering might be for the purpose of resolving this problem, but if it was, it hasn't worked. What's happening?

Allalonenow · 20/05/2014 13:54

I've got this problem too, but only on my lap top, not on iPad.

Lap top had OS Windows Vista and using Internet Explorer Version 9.

(Thanks Icimoi for pointing out this thread)

Sorry guys, we know this is a PITA. Tech are looking into this as we speak, no solution as yet but we will keep you posted.

KateSMumsnet · 20/05/2014 16:36

Ok, the wonderful tech bod should have fixed this now - can you let us know if you're still having problems?

FruVikingessOla · 20/05/2014 17:05

Well done Tech Smile

Allalonenow · 21/05/2014 20:39

That now seems to have been sorted for me, so very many thanks.

The problem seemed to start when the "like" "tweet" "pinit" buttons appeared down the side margin, and it might just be me, but the whole site seems to have got slower to respond since then.

Any way, well done on solving that problem Wine and Cake for all concerned.

libertytrainers · 22/05/2014 19:30

libertytrainers · 22/05/2014 19:30
