Logging out of iPhone app

I'm sure I saw a thread on this but I can't find it...

If I click on a link in a thread, or if I flick to another app on my phone, when I return to the MN app it has logged me out and proceeds to log me back in. This means I lose the thread I was reading and is very annoying

I'm using an iPhone 4s, and iOS 7.1.1 (but this was also happening with the last iOS version). It has probably been happening a month or so and I can't think of it coinciding with anything I changed on my phone

We know this is a problem for people - tech have had a look and at the moment they're not sure what's causing this to happen.

BUT! We are determined to figure it out. If anyone else has experienced this problem, please post saying how you're accessing MN (browser, device, platform), and we'll see if we can spot a pattern or a cause. Thanks, and sorry again for the faff.
