Is this just me that this is happening to?

When I click on various topics or threads, a new tab opens up on my laptop with adverts for various things, mostly debt consolidation and the like.

It only happens on mumsnet. I have used lots of other sites without a problem.

Have I got some sort of bug on my computer doing this, or is anyone else getting it? It's bloody annoying.

Hi mawbroon - in the absence of it happening to anyone else it looks likely to be a problem at your end so Usual's suggestion might be best

It seems to have stopped now after a scan. It found some stuff that needed dealt with, so that's probably it.
