AVG keeps shutting MN down saying a threat has been detected.

Something to do with a flash player, it is only happening on the MN page and only started happening when I logged on to MN.

And I keep getting loads of pop ups, yet again only when I click something on MN though.

Have you done a full scan of your computer?

Yes and the only problems were when I came on here last night. AVG kept removing the threat but once I logged back in to MN, it just kept happening again.
it said it was a false flash player or something. I had been on other pages at the same time but it was only when I clicked something on here.

Odd. If it happens again I'd contact mn directly.

Sorry about this Schro - if it's just you it's happening to then it's a bit difficult for us to diagnose what's going on, but obviously if lots of people say it's happening to them too we'll take another look.

I have no idea of it still is as I haven't used the laptop since. :) DP hasn't complained at all though and he's never off the thing.

Just thought I would mention in case it had also been happening to others.
