How do you get BBC newsflashes on your iPhone? Does it get annoying after a while?

DS2 heard the MN news via Rory Cellan-Jones on Twitter - rushed downstairs to tell me.

It just came up on my phone too.

I have the bbc news app and I enabled notifications. It only sends out one or two a day and I usually find them interesting (as I never have time to read a paper!) which, when there's always a million new stories about something somewhere, a MN story made me jump and come on here to share!
