No password reset being sent :-(

I've clicked on password reset, but nothing is coming through. Not in my trash or spam section either.

I've had to make a new account now, but I want to keep my old one.

I did it fairly early on when the link was new posted and it all worked just fine. Maybe the system is overloaded right now and creaking.

Actually, there's also the possibility that if half of the online world is changing all their passwords right now (with confirmation emails and cross-reference emails to other accounts often needed) that the providers' spam filters are themselves being overwhelmed by traffic and are having a 'moment'. (There are a good number of emails that never even reach the spam box for many providers because the systems think 'Yikes' for one reason or another - so sheer volume in some areas may have caused delays.)

Try again. I requested one yesterday evening but it only arrived at 9.30 this morning! As it was only valid for 30 mins that was a tiny bit useless. Just tried now and it
came straight through.

I have had to make a new account too as I was not receiving emails from mumsnet

Got one today apologising for no emails
But it was too late as I had already made my new one
It doesn't matter to me as I'm more of a lurker than a poster
