I thought they weren't but perhaps I am wrong.

There is an ad for one at the top of my mumsnet page. Describes self as a private obstretician.

Of course they are allowed! Why wouldn't they be?

Hello - we don't allow ads for plastic surgery, but other than that we don't have any particular restrictions at the moment. Let us know what you think though.
