She's still doing it, gawd bless 'er Smile

We've just had a look behind the scenes and it seems you had somehow become unsubscribed from Talk Roundup, so we've subscribed you again.

SaggyAndLucy · 08/04/2014 18:07

LIZS · 08/04/2014 18:10

mine was ticked but not received one for a while . Could it be an aol address issue again perhaps ?

NymodigFruOla · 08/04/2014 19:39

The thing is, that the email isn't titled 'Talk Round Up' any more. It usually has a completely different title (usually to do with the main thread it relates to), so you might not notice it.

Hey, MNHQ, how about renaming the Talk Round Up emails to ... erm Talk Round Up?

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 08/04/2014 19:42

I keep ignoring them because the title isnt talk round upanymore it took me ages to realise that the randomly named emails were in fact the talk round up

Octopusinabunchofdaffodils · 08/04/2014 20:46

Thanks :)

OK Saggy, you were already subscribed

Weegie so were you

We've got some newsletter troubleshooting tips here if you could bear to go through them

And yes Nymodig is right about the subject lines. We tried changing them as an experiment and tbh our open rate went up considerably when we did so, but we'll have a look to see if we can squeeze a mention of talk round-up back in there for those who like to know what it is!

Is there an archive any more? The last one i saw was over a year now, on the archive I mean not in my email. That's why I thought she had stopped because the archive is not updated.

NymodigFruOla · 09/04/2014 16:31

Here is the Talk Round Up archive www.mumsnet.com/info/roundup-archive, shame it stops at 25 Jan 2013.

Rowan, wouldn't it be a good idea to add the TRUs to the archive each week?

RowanMumsnet · 09/04/2014 17:11

We changed the way we send emails to our database about a year ago, and at that point we lost the ability to auto-upload the newsletters each week. It's been on our list of things to fix for ages - we're actually changing our system again soon and we're trying to find out whether that will allow us to get them auto-uploaded again.
