Where does the _Chat thread live?

It's got a sneaky _ before, which can make it tricky to hunt down!

Thanks. Why does it have the _ Kate? And why's there an entire thread on Ford?!

It's to do with alphabetical sorting. Using the _ immediately before a word will sort it to after any Z words, if that makes sense?

Therefore _Chat is at the bottom of the A-Z list - like this

It's not really relevant any more but the old layout had topics listed alphabetically because there weren't enough for categories.

Now, arguably, there are too many categories/topics and some should probably be merged.

Oh and chat was put at the end because at the time people felt it wasn't serious enough for mumsnet. That's also why chat is temporary whereas other topics aren't.

10/10 Bertie for MN trivia! I think the logic for keeping the _ was that it was a little bit of MN history (we're sentimental old vipers really)

We hear what you're saying about the talk topics - a rejig of the topics and how talk looks is on the cards, but we're afraid we don't have an ETA for this yet. It'll be worth the wait though!

Stuck - I think the Ford topic is a remnant from an old product test. Hopefully Bertie will know

I don't remember a Ford product test, sorry! Sounds plausible though! There are a lot of ghost topics from tests.
