I have ticked the 'yes' box to get emails for new posts on my watched threads. I was getting emails but now I'm not. I've not changed any settings so why is this happening?

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. The current app is on its way out so we're sorry to say we won't be making any more fixes to it - but there will be a new and very much improved app and mobile site along shortly. For now, you might find it easier to use the current mobile site if TIW is really important for you.

Hmmm this is most troubling. We've looked at the thing sternly and it's definitely still sending out emails to those who have it turned on. I've received several myself today. We'll happily take another look though!
The logic behind it is a little complicated, you'll only be notified if a new message is posted since you've looked at the thread last and you'll only be notified once even if another message is then posted.
To help us diagnose this oddity could you let us know which thread or threads you're sure you ought to have received a notification for but haven't?

Yes it works exactly as you imagined.
To get to the bottom of your problem it would be really helpful to have an example of a thread or threads you're sure you ought to have received a notification for but haven't. If you'd rather not post publicly would you please email in and let us know?
