Favourite boards?

I'm relatively new to MN and trying to work out whether there's the option to mark your most frequented boards as "favourites" so that you can simply go straight to them without having to trawl through the whole menu of boards to find them. Another site I use a lot has this facility and it's great - makes it really simple to see new traffic on your favourite topics.

Is this available on MN?

Hi JohnCusacksWife

(And a warm welcome to Mumsnet!)

We agree that a 'favourites' option is a great idea. We're not entirely sure how easy this would be to implement, so we'll be putting your suggestion to our lovely Tech folk to see what they have to say.

In the meantime, you do have the option to customise your MN account. Click on the 'Customise' tab below the Mumsnet Talk header - this takes you to the Customise Talk page. Now scroll down to the bottom of the page to where it says: Ignore Topics in Active Conversations. Click on the 'here' link in this box to go to the Talk Preferences - Topics and Threads page.

Once here, you can choose which topics to include and exclude.

Hope that all makes sense! We'll update once we've heard back from Tech.

I use the my topics section on my phone.

I find that works well.

The Mötley Fool website is a good example of what I mean. You can make certain boards "Favourites" and when you log in you can go straight to them...v quick, v simple.
