Moving button bar/viewport par problem

OddBoots · 24/03/2014 07:02

The bar that scrolls down at the top as I move down the page with the 'active' 'I'm on' and 'I'm watching' and search bits on.

This morning the buttons all cause a new tab to open with the Haven page on instead of opening the page I wanted.

I'm using Chrome browser and it only started today.

Anyone else?

I just got that too! Annoying isn't it? I really have no interest in Haven, I just want Active Convos please.

TinyTear · 24/03/2014 08:02

Same here on Firefox

OddBoots · 24/03/2014 09:39

It seems to be fixed now, thank you.

All good? Do shout if it happens again Smile

TinyTear · 24/03/2014 11:59

When it happened to me I was seeing a Haven advert all round the background of the page (on the sides) if that makes any sense...

now it's back to lovely white

OddBoots · 19/05/2014 06:50

This has been happening again only instead of haven it is whatever is the advert all around, in this case the Amazon page for the new MN cook book.

Use the adblock browser plugin. This stuff is getting daft now.

OddBoots · 19/05/2014 08:23

I really don't want to block ads and they're not normally a problem, it's only an issue when they impact functionality.

Mine opens up Amazon Confused !!
On pc with IE

Seeline · 19/05/2014 10:06

OK - seem to have fixed the 'active' button, but still getting to Amazon via the other two!!

OddBoots · 19/05/2014 10:22

Oh now the new Fiat 500 advert in the box on the right (between 'Mumsnet talk' and 'Latest reviews'.) is automatically playing with sound, is it meant to do that? I've not had noisy adverts start playing on their own here before.
