Stupid questions, photos and iPad

I know I should be able to, but if I try and add a photo I have taken that is on my pad it says mn doesn't have permission to access my files and I need to change my privacy settings, where, how? (Wail)

Erp that sounds odd. We'd be wailing too if it was asking us that. Will ask some more tech-minded people what's going on.

My iPad has all the 'Images (up to 6 a day)' boxes greyed out, so I can't do it either.

(Which is unfortunate as somethng weird is happening with Advanced Search results page and I've taken screen shots .....)

Yes, we think it might be an iOS issue - if you're running iOS6 or higher you should be able to upload pictures. Sorry...
