OTBT is appearing in active threads

Just noticed this now.

I don't know if it's just one particular thread that has been moved from another board because that's the only thread I've spotted on Active

They do show up in active if they've been moved from another board. If you want it to not show up you will need to start another thread not continue the old one. It's been mentioned before but can't remember if they are looking into it or are just leaving it.

I think it probably needs a message to make it clear that is what happens though.

Agreed, Rafals - seems bloody pointless to move it if it's still in active convos. But at the very least the requester needs to know this will happen.

I'd rather not directly link to it, Kate - from memory it was the one with 'giddy aunt' in the name. But I reported it two days ago so can't remember for sure.

I don't know if I saw the sam one tribpot did but it was the one about a dad taking advantage of the poster by always wanting her to look after his children - sorry I don't know where the link is

From that it looks like it is supposed to happen. And from that it does look like they are just leaving it.

It's a topic called off the beaten track. Threads in it don't show up on searches eg if you start a thread called 'the best way to boil an egg' in chat if someone searches boil egg on google it might come up. If it's in otbt it wouldn't
