Posting a link

Sorry to be dim, but how do you do that clever thing where you add a link, with the word you click on being something like "here" in blue? I can't understand the instructions. Could someone give me step-by-step instructions, talking very slowly and clearly, for the benefit of the very technologically challenged? Thanks.

first of all you type

then you type

{

then you type the links address

then you type

then the words that you want it to say on the link then finish by typing

ooh whilst you're there, I have mastered the link but how do you put a photo on?

You can only put photos on Member Profiles and For Sale threads I think. And possible Wanted.

When you create the thread, you'll be offered the chance to upload a photo, which has to be under 100k IIRC.
