Android app: how to hide sponsored threads. 75 and counting!

I'm using the android app and the sponsored threads never seem to disappear.

I use active convos - and have to scroll through all of them before I get to any 'real' threads.

There are about 75 of them now - but they keep multiplying. Please let me know how to get rid of them before I lose my mind!
