It doesn't happen on any other site. Is it mumsnet or my notebook?

I only got it, I don't know much about laptops etc and viruses. I have anti virus software that isn't detecting anything. I am using chrome.

I wonder if they're back? Are you by any chance getting boob shots, Panda? (Read \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/site_stuff/1998233-Porny-serve-ad-pop-up-web-page-opening-from-an-MN-thread?msgid=45299529\this thread.}

It also happens when I click into the text box to reply.

No boob shots yet, I usually close the tab as soon as I see it, but the two times I have let it load, one was for anti virus like Norton etc and the other was a "get out of debt" ad.

Well don't worry - some of use were getting loads over the last fortnight and they were evading standard protection. Just be sure not to fill in anything that pops up - never, ever give any personal information.

Can you take a screenshot of the popup or maybe copy a URL to send to MNHQ ? ([email protected] is their email.)

PS - it would do no harm as well to clear your computer's cache and cookies.

My anti virus just detected one of them.

I have cleared everything, though the notebook was wiped completely and had all new software installed. I only got it three days ago.

Its showing as malware on my scan, so it is maybe just me and not the site.
