MN emails and iPad - no content

I don't usually look at my emails on the iPad but today I have. Everything I've had from MN has something like "this message has no content".

Is it one of my settings or is this normal?

I just had the same thing but not from MN, from one of my friends. Suspect it is gmail playing up.
