Ever considered a poll feature?

Lots of forums have them. A question at the top with multiple choice answers. When you pick one it generates a bar graph of results.

Please pick one of the following:

  1. Annoying.
  1. Worth a go.
  1. Too complicated to implement.

  1. Change? Change?? I don't like change and still use Mumsnet Classic

MNHQ do polls as you describe, Tiggs.

Do you mean you would like us to be able to devise our own polls?

HoratiaDrelincourt · 28/02/2014 16:22

So you can put a quick poll on a thread instead of having to count replies?

eg AIBU?
YABU - 99%
YANBU - 1%

or

How is SCONE pronounced?
It rhymes with gone - 50%
It rhymes with cone - 50%

RowanMumsnet · 28/02/2014 16:26

haha at poopoohead

yes Tiggy - do you mean user-generated polls or MNHQ ones?

TiggyCBE · 28/02/2014 16:31

User generated ones. It might calm AIBU down a bit if you could just tick yes in a bo rather than have to write yes, because if you write yes you kind of feel obliged to explain to the OP exactly why they're a twat unreasonable.

I like the idea of polls. In most cases, by the time I have read thru 500 replies, I've forgotten what the question was.

I like Horatias poll.Grin
